Kings Blame Booze For Loss

(Riverton, New Jersey) - As of last night, the Kings are officially blaming heavy beer and liquor consumption for their 4th place finish at the Medford Masters. Two Points: Did the Kings not realize those drinks would add up throughout the day long marathon? and, The Kings have won more than a few tournaments when their competitors succummed to the flowing taps.
Be careful - heavy drinking could impair coordination!

Derby Day Set for May 7th

(Riverton, New Jersey) - The Triple Crown of Shuffleboard is happy to  announce  the 5th Derby Day Shuffleboard Tournament will take place May 7th. This is the third and final event in the 2016 Triple Crown of Shuffleboard. The tournament is once again an Invitational, not an Open Tournament. There will be a limit of 10 teams (20 players total) in the tournament. Register now to avoid missing out on this tournament.

There will be food, drinks, and world-class shuffleboard action. Non-playing guests are encouraged to attend, cheer for your favorite shuffleboard team, and watch the Derby.

As usual, the tournament format is double elimination. Games are played to 15. You do not have to win by 2. The team coming from the loser bracket will have to win two consecutive games to take the title. The current plan is to have the tournament tip off at 2PM sharp. We will play the first round games and the first two consolation matches. Then, we will break for the Derby (post time 634PM), and re-start at 7PM with the semifinals, moving towards a final around 10PM.

What A Fine Tailor They Have On Bennington!

Damn It Feels Good To Win The Masters.

Dead Rabbits Start, Finish Strong To Take Medford Masters

(Medford, New Jersey) - The Dead Rabbits took down some of the area's top teams in succession yesterday. Early on, the Rabbits dispatched Dos Amigos with some fine play. After a three hour layoff, the table shuffleboard world watched a rematch of the 2014 Terrace Club Spring Season Finals. The Dead Rabbits got ahead early and were able to hold of the legendary Quate Kings. After some action in the loser bracker, the Rabbits cooled down The Steamers in the finals to lock up their place in the Championship Game. Emerging from the loser bracket was No Line Available. The Rabbits showed no mercy and dispatched NLA with a great finishing shot by Dave. It was the first Master's title ever for Dave and the first since 2014 for (now 3 time champion) Death Machine.
